Piccadilly Roman Numerals

The enamel dials used in the Piccadilly collection are made using the same techniques as has been employed in watchmaking for several hundred years and assures that short of the dials being damaged in manipulation they will never tarnished or change in their appearance.

The enamel powder is applied manually and melted carefully in an oven. This is repeated at least five times to slowly build up an even surface of enamel. When the numbers are printed in black enamel the melting point temperature of the black is lower than the white to avoid the two colours running together.
